Neila Hutt has designed interiors since 2000.  Her scope of work includes homes and offices throughout California, vacation homes in Hawaii & hotels, country clubs and restaurants  in Seattle, Las Vegas, SF, Los Angeles and Central America.
After completing her studies with UC Berkeley Ext. Interior Architecture Program, Neila began her career with the internationally acclaimed firm Gensler in 2000.  She devoted seven years to Gensler designing projects for many high profile companies.  Later, she joined a boutique hospitality firm where she was Sr. Designer.
In 2010 she launched Neila Hutt Interior Design.  Neila is now based in Marin County, CA, where she independently pursues projects designing both residential and commercial interiors.  

Design Philosophy:  A well designed space should reflect the person who lives in it and should function beautifully to fit their needs.  
Green Approach:  Use local resources and recycle!  Reinvent what you already have. Take what’s old and make it new.  
Designers I love: Kelly Wearstler, Eero Saarinen, Frank Lloyd Wright, Christian Liaigre, Tom Dixon, Emilio Pucci, Missoni, Tom Ford... the list goes on and on.
Favorite Project: A beauty school in Tokyo that I designed with a team at Gensler.
